Job Description

We are searching for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, and is responsible for performing a range of warehouse duties to ensure accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, pulling and staging orders, shipping and receiving materials, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. All tasks must be performed with a high degree of accuracy and with strict adherence to safety protocols.

 

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Pull customer orders accurately with minimal supervision
  • Stage orders in proper locations for second verification before shipment
  • Stretch wrap, band, pack, and unpack materials as required
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy against paperwork
  • Generate necessary shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform basic inventory activities, including understanding units of measure and bin locations
  • Conduct routine equipment checks
  • Ensure confidentiality of company proprietary information
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The ideal candidate will have:  

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months warehouse, distribution, and/or logistics experience (preferred)
  • Forklift safety training and certification
  • Documented computer skills for basic inventory system operations
  • Effective reading comprehension, communication, and basic math skills
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good hand-eye coordination, vision, and hearing
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
