Job Description

We are searching for a Lead Sales Administrator to join our growing team. This role will perform as a lead sales administrative staff member, which includes overseeing and training. This role will also perform administrative functions for the Regional Sales Manager and special projects for the VP, and General Manager. 


Responsibilities Include:  


  • Ensure all proper procedures are followed through by staff. Provide guidance and direction to employees in the interpretation and administration of policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and compare customer data, pricing, and contracts as instructed.
  • Create executive level business correspondence and memos. Participate and oversee creation of proposals, bids, flyers, lists, forms and special projects for the Regional Sales Manager and Sales Managers.
  • Oversee staff in planning of annual sales banquet, customer appreciation days, vendor and company sponsored activities, etc.
  • Assist Sales Managers in the vehicle reimbursement program audit process.
  • Advise various company personnel of relevant meetings and seminars.
  • Back-up/assist with handling all orders from customers and key orders when needed.
  • Assist with researching and resolving customer problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as back-up to Sales Administrator to record minutes of all sales meetings.
  • Continually enhance product and service knowledge.
  • Provide a high standard of efficiency, accuracy, and courtesy to all customers and the Company.
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 

  • A Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Administrative Roles in Jan/San Distribution. 
  • College Degree preferred. 
  • Intermediate to Advance Excel skills to include Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc. 
  • Supervisory background preferred.
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with new people through strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software, lead generation tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Customer-centric with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

The pay range for this role is $36.08-$40.87 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
