Job Description

We are in search of a General Ledger Manager to join our growing team. The General Ledger Manager is responsible for overseeing the Senior Staff Accountant team and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Supervise and oversee the Senior Staff Accountant team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Review general ledger expense accounts monthly for documentation, consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy of general ledger coding.
  • Coordinate and support external and internal audit processes, providing necessary documentation and resolving any audit findings.
  • Perform monthly bank settlements, daily bank transactions and regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in preparation of tax documentation.
  • Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
  • Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.

 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

Pay Transparency States as of March 2025: CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, D.C, MA, MN, NY, RI, WA, OH

The pay range for this role is $115,000-$122,000 salary. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
