We are in search of a Laundry and WareWash Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible to build customer relationships and grow the business. Working with our CRM, the Laundry and WareWash Specialist will follow up on leads, identify key accounts within the New York Market. This role will use company sales processes to grow the ProWash and Chemical Sales categories.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with Northeast Director of Sales – ProWash, and Sales Leadership, to drive and support sales initiatives with a focus on chemicals, including laundry, ware-washing, housekeeping, floor care, and food processing.
- Create sales volume by making cold calls, and working with Sales Executives, within the assigned territory daily to prospective customers and regularly engaging current customers.
- Actively seek out industry and product knowledge by becoming a Subject Matter Expert who educates customers on the best solutions for their business.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships while meeting sales targets.
- Collaboratively work to expand and develop market share for key manufacturers that the company promotes.
- Proactively work to resolve customer concerns to maximize satisfaction. This may involve working through cross-functional teams within the organization and external suppliers.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, contracts (sales, activation, service maintenance), reports (status, sales activity, goals and closings).
- Positively engage with internal Contracts, Category, Marketing and Operations Teams to troubleshoot and find business solutions.
- Assist when needed for installation and service of programs sold.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School Diploma required, college degree in sales/marketing or business, preferred.
- 2-5 years of B2B outside sales experience or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience, desired.
- Proven experience selling chemical programs is a PLUS
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills is a PLUS.
- JanSan, Industrial Packaging, Foodservice experience is a PLUS but not required.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related employment screenings.
- DRIVING: Driving on a regular basis on behalf of the company is an essential function of this role. A valid drivers’ license and safe driving history is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $100,000-$120,000/year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
