Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Administrator to join our team.  The Pricing Administrator will play a critical role in implementing pricing strategies that align with our business objectives.  They will work with vendors, multiple internal departments and sales teams daily to ensure we are striving for margin enhancement using multiple data resources. 


The ideal candidate will have critical problem-solving skills and have a proactive approach to solving complex pricing/cost problems. This individual will require the use of analytical thought processes, data visualization services, and other reporting tools to help determine prices and maximize revenue and profit.

Responsibilities Include:

    Conduct daily reporting to identify compressing, low, and abnormal profitability on the open and historical orders of various products. 

    Conduct root cause analysis and formulate on profitability constraints to determine source, use resources to rectify, and implement fixes through completion.

    Analyze data and describe subsequent actions.

    Detailed weekly reporting on margin compression and explanation steps to address. 

    Work directly with sales, external vendors, and Cost Implementation team to ensure cost supports are in place.  Communicate regularly with external vendors.

    Appropriately meet vendor compliance with registration of end users using our vendors systems. 

    Use of a shared mailbox or ticket system. 

    Coordinate and complete pricing cleanup when needed.

    Work with sales team to assist with pricing renewals, which includes the utilization of multiple data systems such as PowerBI and Salesforce.  

    Other Duties and projects as assigned by management


The ideal candidate will have:

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

    Work Experience: 2-3 Years of Pricing, Cost Implementation, or Sales Support Experience Preferred

   Epicor Prophet 21, AS400, and PowerBI experience preferred.

    Excellent customer service skills.

    Professional verbal and written communication skills.

    Reliable attendance and timely submittals on projects. 

    Ability to retain confidential information.

    Specialized Skills:

o    Proficient in Microsoft Word; moderate Microsoft Excel skills; to include Vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas.

o    Clear understanding of profitability drivers in pricing and cost


Compensation & Benefits: 

The pay range for this role is $28.00-$36.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
