Description & Requirements
We are searching for a Production Associate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for working on our manufacturing lines to manufacture commercial-grade chemicals and wet wipes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate production equipment including Automatic liquid fill machines, cap tighteners, bottle and cannister labelers, lot coders, heat shrink tunnel, conveyors and case tapers.
- Work on assembly line. Assemble products and inspect products for quality assurance.
- Perform repetitious tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete Work Orders accurately and accurately record information in the logbook.
- Label cartons, bottles, buckets, and drums accurately and consistently.
- Use the Work Order to identify, pull and stage components and raw goods for the production run.
- Position totes on the line and safely transfer liquid product between totes to the fill machine.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and standards. Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Load pallets and count inventory.
- Continuously lift products weighing up to 60+ pounds.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Working with hazardous materials. Training and Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.
- May be assigned specific facility maintenance duties as needed. Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics with high attention to detail.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Training and certification will be provided on site.
- Ability to load pallets of heavy boxes (60+ pounds) for consecutive hours at a time.
- Must be able to perform job duties while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Use, operate and understand floor scales and gram weight scales.
- The ability to track production numbers using basic multiplication and addition.
- Proficiency in the English language including the ability to read, write and verbally communicate well with others.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to and carry 60+lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Work is regularly performed while standing, sitting, walking, bending and reaching.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
