Job Description

We are in search of a Packaging Account Executive to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within our industrial packaging division. This role involves traveling to customer sites, understanding their packaging needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for packaging products.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and present product solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, logistics, category) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in packaging or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits 

The pay range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
