Sanitation Employee

 

The Sanitation Employee is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work areas, and facilities in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and health guidelines.

  

Responsibilities Include: 

 

  • Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, tools, and facilities according to established schedules and procedures 
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as required 
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and correctly 
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 
  • Remove waste, debris, and recyclable materials from designated areas 
  • Inspect work areas for cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns 
  • Complete required sanitation logs and documentation accurately 
  • Work with team members and supervisors to meet sanitation standards and production schedules 
  • Adhere to all company policies, including food safety and regulatory requirements (if applicable) 

  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior sanitation, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to cleaning chemicals

 

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $18.97-$21.15/hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
