Chemical Mixer Compounder

 

We are in search of a Chemical Mixer Compounder who performs manufacturing functions to support the production of raw materials into finished product

 

Responsibilities Include: 

 

  • Accurately weigh and blend raw materials according to the specifications listed on the batch ticket.
  • Perform quality control tests on the product according to the specifications listed on the batch ticket.
  • The ability to manufacture quality products for Daycon and private label customers.
  • Fill the product into containers according to the specifications listed on the batch ticket after inspecting labels and ensuring container integrity.
  • Receive and maintain all raw materials, containers, and other material handling equipment.
  • Properly record appropriate and necessary information on batch tickets, inventory sheets, and receiving documentation.
  • Possess knowledge of raw materials and their alternatives by utilizing the chemical cross reference list.
  • Generate labels using the Label View software and PC.
  • Inspect labeling of containers from assembly line and utility persons.
  • Sample raw materials and finished product for retained storage.
  • Receive raw materials as needed

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • High school diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally transport over 400 pounds (with assistance from equipment).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, stand, bend, and climb stairs.
  • Specific vision requirements are close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus and color perception.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing environment, which may be cold or hot depending on the season. 
  • Employee works in a hazardous area with hazardous chemicals. All hazards and chemicals are appropriately marked.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. 
  • Work is mostly routine and covered by general instructions or procedures.  Occasional judgment is required in completing a task or selecting between several alternative solutions

 

Compensation & Benefits (PAY TRANSPARENCY VERSION)

The pay range for this role is $21.00/hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
