Warehouse Supervisor  

The Warehouse Supervisor works with the existing Director of Operations and onsite staff to achieve goals that lower operating costs, improve morale, develop leading edge processes, and execute key projects. This position requires the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time while working in a fast-paced environment. This position will help to oversee and direct the operations, both warehouse and delivery teams, at multiple warehouse locations all within the local vicinity of Scranton and Olyphant, PA. Local travel to these warehouse locations and an ability to quickly adjust and adapt daily schedules and work locations based on business needs is a must.  

Responsibilities Include:  

• Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices.
• Responsible for routing for the next day's delivery tickets.
• Determines staffing levels and assign workload. 
• The responsibility for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delivery.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager. 
• Responsible for sanitation and physical condition of warehouse, material handling equipment and rolling stock for the shift.
• Responsible for the safety of employees and visitors during the shift. Directs investigations of all accidents and recommends corrective action. Follows up to ensure that appropriate corrective action is taken.
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
• Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and Industry related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules as well as BradyPLUS policies/procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience required

• 1+ years supervisory experience
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications
• 21 years of age
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs.
