We are in search of a Will Call Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This role serves as the front-line contact for customers picking up orders at the distribution center. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient customer experience while coordinating with warehouse and operations teams to fulfill orders accurately and on time. This position also serves as a back-up to office Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and the Receptionist, providing support as needed to ensure consistent coverage and service across the department.
Responsibilities Include:
- Pulling product for will call customers and assisting those customers.
- Pulling UPS orders, packaging, shipping and all appropriate record keeping.
- Assist customers as required.
- Enter phoned-in orders from customers into system.
- Key scratch orders, fax orders and customer purchase orders on a daily basis.
- Assist company Sales Representatives by phone and in person.
- Communicate regularly with them regarding customer pricing, problems or requests.
- Continually enhance product and service knowledge
- Research and resolve customer problems accurately and efficiently
- Maintain shipping records.
- Pull special orders.
- Assist in stocking merchandise as time allows.
- Stage will call orders for customers.
- Load merchandise into customer vehicle.
- Pull orders and stage for demonstration.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Will Call area
- Support other administrative or warehouse tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1-2 of experience in warehouse, logistics or distributions operations preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- AS400 (Aplus) System knowledge
- Certified forklift operator is a plus
- Knowledge of the RF system
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to work multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
- Occasionally standing and walking within the warehouse to gather information or coordinate with operations staff
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, small packages)
- Must be able to bend, reach, and twist occasionally during coordination tasks or while accessing files/supplies
- Manual dexterity required for frequent use of computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipment
- Clear verbal and written communication required in a potentially noisy warehouse environment
- Must be able to visually inspect documents, labels, and computer screens
- Occasional exposure to warehouse temperatures, which may vary seasonally
- Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $19.00-$22.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
