Job Description

Job Summary 

The Loader uses a dolly/pallet jack to manually pick food products from the bin location, palletizing when required per customer/stop, shrink wrapping the Product on and delivering it to a staging area without damage. Load orders into trucks safely and in a Timely Manner. Loader is in charge of loading freezer products All dairy products Which may include Dairy Bread and eggs. Loaders Must also load Dry section pallets and Produce pallets nightly throughout their shift and Anything else That may pertain to the job position that is not currently listed - or any special duties or assignments given by management.

• Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., (team lift suggested)

• Occasionally Work in a cold/wet storage environment, exposure to cooler about 36-40 degrees

• Regularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift

• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.

• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, standup forklift.

• Team-player with a positive attitude

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Able to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision. Preferred qualifications

• Experience with inventory management.

• Forklift license.

• Experience with handling warehouse equipment. Social Skills

Second Shift: 5pm to 1:30am Starts week on Sunday, Off Saturday and other day during the week. 8-hour shifts, including 30 minutes unpaid lunch and two 10 minutes paid breaks and plus overtime when needed due to workload.


Compensation

The pay range for this role is $19.00 - $21.00 an hour.
