We are in search of a National Laundry Service Manager to join our growing team. This role will lead our team of field service technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting chemical dispensing systems in commercial laundry environments across the United States. This position ensures technical excellence, consistent customer satisfaction, and alignment with safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial laundry systems, chemical dispensing technologies, and team leadership.
Responsibilities Include:
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and manage a nationwide team of field service technicians.
- Oversee technician scheduling, performance management, and training.
- Ensure technical standards and procedures are followed uniformly.
Technical Operations:
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of laundry chemical dispensing systems in collaboration with Regional Service Managers.
- Provide technical support for escalated field service issues.
- Ensure proper calibration and titration of chemical systems to meet wash performance and cost targets.
- Maintain and implement best practices for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Customer & Account Support:
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Support onboarding of new accounts and transition of major accounts.
- Conduct site audits and ensure technician work aligns with service-level agreements (SLAs).
Training & Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for technicians on safety, technical systems, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure technicians are certified and compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
- Ability and willingness to transfer knowledge and skills to others.
Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Analyze service metrics and generate reports for senior leadership.
- Manage departmental budget, tools, and inventory.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methods to improve service efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in field service management, preferably in the commercial laundry or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of laundry operations, chemical dispensing equipment, and industrial water treatment.
- Proven leadership experience managing dispersed technician teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel nationally up to 75%.
Preferred:
- Degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
- Familiarity with major chemical suppliers (Ecolab, Diversey, etc.)
- OSHA, EPA, and relevant safety compliance experience.
Compensation & Benefits (PAY TRANSPARENCY VERSION)
The pay range for this role is $80,000-$90,000. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
