We are in search of an eCommerce Product Information Specialist to join our growing team. We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven individual to champion digital content excellence across our eCommerce platforms. In this role, you’ll ensure product data is accurate, SEO-optimized, and beautifully structured to elevate customer experience and drive conversions. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of product data, digital strategy, and user experience.
**** This is a remote position and can be located anywhere within the US.
Responsibilities Include:
Product Information Management (PIM)
- Own the end-to-end process of creating, enriching, and maintaining product information.
- Develop SEO-friendly product titles, descriptions, and metadata to maximize search performance.
- Standardize product taxonomies and attributes for improved catalog consistency and site navigation.
- Partner with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather and validate high-quality product content.
- Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Operational & Backend Support
- Navigate ERP and eCommerce backends to troubleshoot and resolve issues (e.g., visibility, categorization, and tagging).
- Act as a liaison between digital merchandising, eCommerce, and customer service teams to ensure optimal product availability and presentation.
Digital Experience & Optimization
- Work closely with UX designers, developers, and content teams to improve how product data is displayed and experienced.
- Identify and implement enhancements to increase engagement, conversions, and satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of experience in PIM, product content management, or digital merchandising.
- Deep familiarity with PIM platforms, ERP systems, and CMS environments.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to eCommerce content.
- Experience with AI-assisted content creation tools or bulk content automation software is a plus.
- Outstanding attention to detail with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Strong project management and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in B2B or B2C eCommerce environments.
- Data-savvy mindset with an interest in analytics and performance metrics.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth digital environments.
