Job Description

We are in search of a Manager of Analytics Operations to join our growing team. This role will help drive our reporting and analytics initiatives across the company. This Manager of Analytics Operations will be the face of the Analytics team for the company, connecting users with the analytical tools developed by the team. This will include spearheading the rollout of newly developed tools, developing and implementing user communication, notification, and training programs, managing user support tickets, and developing tracking to monitor and drive adoption of said analytical tools.

This role will require strong communication and organization skills, combined with solid technical skills and business acumen.

 

 

This role could be remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. 

 

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Learn and master every aspect of our existing analytical tools (Power BI, Fabric, Python) to be able to roll them out and explain them in depth to non-technical users.
  • Develop and maintain user access and security policy.
  • Communicate with users regarding outages, issues, new features/releases, etc.
  • Develop and implement user training and development programs.
  • Liaise with users to understand needs and pain points, leading to improvements and developments in our analytical tools.
  • Oversee our support desk, ensuring timely resolution of tickets.
  • Drive user adoption and utilization of our analytical tools through monitoring and targeted outreach.
  • Manage the Analytics team’s internal sprint planning.
  • Develop and maintain documentation around tools, best practices, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps to help with data maintenance, etc.
  • Help with regular QA monitoring on pipelines and reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 

  • 3 - 6 years of experience of technical program management and administration, with experience of managing project implementations.
  • 2 - 4 years of business analytics experience; familiarity with key metrics and an understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
  • Strong Microsoft applications experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The communication skills and business acumen to understand complex analytical tools and explain them to non-technical users as well as to digest the needs of said users and communicate them to the Analytics team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Experience with Power Apps / Power Automate is a plus.
  • Team oriented mindset, strong work ethic, and the flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, grow, and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
