Job Description

We are in search of a Delivery Driver Class B CDL to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for transporting and delivering products to designated customers. 


Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive Class B Truck to deliver and pick up product to customer's place of business.
  • Operate material handling equipment within OSHA standards (i.e. Hand truck, electric or pump jack etc.) and always wear the appropriate PPE when doing so. 
  • Obtain customer signature, ensure piece count matches load manifest
  • Provide customer service and give feedback from customers to Manager.
  • Maintain accurate driving log information and data.
  • Obtain a TWIC endorsement to pick up containers from shipping port
  • Deliver containers to New Jersey freight yard.
  •  Perform pre and post trip inspections on truck according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
  • Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate driver's license and DOT Medical card.
  • Take OSHA and or DOT training courses as assigned.
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Operate and take care of company devises as designed and trained. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institutions 
  • Ability to pass background check associated with obtaining TWIC card.
  • Hazmat endorsement or will agree to get a Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of your start date.
  • 3+ year of commercial truck driving experience, preferably in the LTL and or door to door delivery.
  • Ability to navigate a commercial truck while delivering in Cities and rural areas safely and professionally. 
  • Driving in adverse weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to get to and from work.        
  • Deal with customer and delivery issues professionally. And then communicate them to their manager. 
  • No prior DUI, OWI and or DWI on their driving record.
  • No prior criminal record.
  • Must possess a Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement.
  • Experience in order fulfillment and logistics is preferred.
  • Must have clean driving record and valid medical card.
  • Must be able to pass forklift certification testing. Training is conducted at our facility.
  • The ability to read, write English and clearly communicate any delivery instructions and issues with our customers.
  • Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Should be physically fit and be able to complete all assigned work.
  • Must possess the ability to lift product up to 80 lbs.
  • Subject to random drug testing as part of fleet driver role.
    • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
    • Driving: Driving on a regular basis on behalf of the company is an essential function of this role. A valid drivers’ license and safe driving history is required
