We are in search of a Sales Representative to drive profitable revenue growth by acquiring, servicing, and expanding B2B accounts across janitorial/sanitation (Jan-San), foodservice packaging, equipment, and industrial packaging categories. This is a consultative, field-based role responsible for full-cycle selling—from prospecting and needs analysis through solution design, demonstrations, trials, pricing, implementation, and ongoing service coordination. Success requires strong product knowledge, territory planning, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined use of CRM and sales processes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute a territory plan with strong pipeline and CRM management.
- Prospect new business through outbound efforts, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Conduct account reviews to identify opportunities, expand share, and standardize SKUs.
- Deliver solution-based selling with product demos, cost analyses, and tailored proposals.
- Coordinate service, installations, and resolve delivery or order issues with internal teams.
- Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
- Stay current on product categories, trends, and vendor programs through ongoing training.
- Leverage data to drive product penetration, improve margins, and optimize inventory.
- Communicate promotions and updates; ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience: 3–7+ years of successful B2B outside sales; industry experience in Jan-San, foodservice packaging, or industrial packaging strongly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ongoing training and vendor certifications required.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license, insurable MVR, and reliable transportation.
- Skills: Consultative selling, discovery, solution design; negotiation and margin management; time management and territory planning; clear written and verbal communication; presentation skills; collaboration across cross-functional teams; proficiency with CRM and common business software.
- Attributes: Goal-oriented, self-directed, resilient, ethical, and customer-focused.
