Warehouse Lead 

We are searching for a Warehouse Lead to join our growing team. This role will Responsible for leading the day shift warehouse personnel. Assures that safety and warehouse procedures and guidelines are followed. Reports to Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities Include:  

• Writes performance appraisals for all warehouse workers on day shift for Warehouse Manager’s approval.
• Ensure that all receiving is done in accordance with company guidelines.
• Utilize least expensive transportation (commensurate with good business practices) when
• shipping merchandise by common carrier.
• Stock merchandise in accordance with inventory listing.
• Maintain a neat and clean warehouse.
• Ensure all safety equipment is used and maintained in working order.
• Ensure all day shift warehouse employees are wearing proper safety shoes and uniforms.
• Ensure safety belts are worn while working.
• Attend and participate in all safety meetings.
• Ensure all fire extinguishers are in working order and have been inspected on an annual basis.
• Work with safety coordinator on the implementation and training of all safety policies and guidelines.
• Ensure safety inspection report is turned in every Monday. 
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

• Strong analytical skills.  
• Proven ability to lead a group.
• Knowledge of RF system.
•  Excellent customer service skills.
• knowledge of Word or PC skills. 
• Ability to ensure lifting of heavy objects is done safely and train employees
• Physical Requirements 
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods during shifts.
• Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs, including pallets, boxes, and equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach to handle inventory, perform inspections, or assist team members.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, stairs, or steps as needed for inventory access or maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
• Exposure to varying warehouse conditions such as temperature fluctuations, noise, and dust.
• Capable of standing and walking for the majority of the workday, with occasional sitting for administrative tasks.
•  Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.

Compensation & Benefits: 

The pay range for this role is $27.00- $30.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
