Inventory Analyst
We are searching for an Inventory Analyst to join our growing team. This role will Maintain the inventory accuracy by conducting daily inventory counts and reconciliation through adjustments. Provide a detailed analysis of why the inventory variances occurred and the required corrective guidance to prevent further inventory variances. Act as a conduit of information regarding inventory issues and trends between the warehouse and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
- Perform daily cycle counts to include warehouse and service center items (excluding alpha parts) and input into Aplus.
- Reconcile and justify inventory variances daily utilizing the tools available within Aplus.
- Conduct inventory research on all inventory variances.
- Provide daily justification sheet to operations manager on variances with dollar amounts as specified prior to posting the cycle count.
- Update the Adjustment Track Sheet with all “A” type adjustments for the specific time period.
- Provide recommended courses of action in order to eliminate future variances.
- Assist the warehouse with receiving and computer concerns and research of inventory.
- Assist warehouse in maintaining accuracy of row-bin-tier records.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
- Previous AS400 (Aplus) experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including walking the warehouse floor to perform inventory audits or support cycle counts
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs occasionally, such as when handling inventory samples, documents, or packaging materials.
- Regularly required to bend, stoop, reach, and climb short ladders or step stools when accessing inventory or storage areas.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may include variations in temperature, noise, and dust.
- Ability to use handheld scanners, tablets, and other inventory tools for prolonged periods
- Must be able to visually inspect products and inventory for accuracy and condition.
- Occasional travel between facilities or warehouse zones may be required depending on operational needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $24.00- $28.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
