Description & Requirements
The Credit Representative plays a key role in managing customer receivable accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments while adhering to established corporate credit policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage receivable accounts for all assigned customers.
- Collaborate with the Cash Application team to ensure accurate posting of accounts.
- Work closely with sales to address complex accounts and identify potential bad debt risks.
- Conduct thorough research on challenging accounts to resolve issues.
- Provide Proof of Deliveries, invoice copies, ageing reports and other billing items per request.
- Monitor open orders that exceed credit limits or terms and release them when appropriate.
- Review aging trial balances with the Credit Manager to identify delinquent accounts and assess credit risks.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team on necessary account adjustments.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to share best practices, exchange ideas, and pursue continuous education.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Preferred: Previous experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP Systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
- Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.

The pay range for this role is $23 - $26.44 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
