We are in search of a Warehouse Administrator to join our growing team. This position is highly organized and proactive that provides support for our warehouse operations with a focus on shipping, receiving, and routing logistics. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all warehouse functions, while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain open communication and strong working relationships with the Warehouse Manager and Leads.
- Serve as the primary router, managing all routing logistics and updates.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to prepare shipping documentation, including special handling instructions, COD details, and unique loading requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer-specific shipping data and generate cost-control reports.
- Schedule outbound freight pickups with approved carriers and ensure all shipments have proper documentation and freight charges.
- Manage driver check-ins, verify “go-agains” via RF gun, and correct pending orders in AS400.
- Assist with billing all routes daily and release RGA orders.
- Assist with scheduling and preparing paperwork for inbound freight deliveries.
- Scan all receiving documents and file accordingly.
- Support warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting with emphasis on routing, shipping and receiving.
- Proficiency in AS400/APLUS software and PC-based data entry.
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, stoop and reach throughout the day.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $27.88-$30.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
