Brady Plus

The Router is responsible for routing all the Rohnert Park next day deliveries (300-400 orders per day). Ensuring time windows and routes are built accurately to meet our customers’ needs.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 7:30pm

Responsibilities Include:  

• Screen daily orders for routing selection for Brady Plus trucks, FEDEX or LTL.
• Validate customer-shipping information by maintaining the customer P21 database.
• Route 15-17 Brady Plus fleet vehicles to enable 100% accuracy for next day delivery average while controlling fuel, labor and maintenance costs.
• Provide consistent utilization of OMNITRACS for standard routes as well as manual routing.
• Work in concert with data processing and customer service to provide order delivery visibility and time windows are followed. 
• Develop and maintain an effective communication style with the driving staff, CSRs, and Management
• Team to increase routing efficiency and customer-specific demands as it relates to transportation. 
• Prepare shipping documents to include packing slips, route manifest, load sheets, and pick tickets. 
• Ensure 100% accountability for all orders routed to include monitoring delivery memos, RMA’s and backorders are accounted for each daily route. 
• Make certain that all late orders or manual add-ons are accounted for and properly routed.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

• P21 System knowledge, Samsara, Fleet Worthy, and ADP experience is required.  
• Proficient in MS Office to include Word and Excel; proficient in Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Good knowledge of the Bay Area and the 101 corridor with good map reading abilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, regularly required to push/pull and lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation & Benefits  

The pay range for this role is $28.35 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
