We are in search of a Customer Solutions Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional service to BradyPLUS’s internal and external customers by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Responsibilities Include:
- Engage with customers through various communication channels (phone, fax, email and will call) to manage orders, understand their needs and ensure seamless order fulfillment. Key orders daily and resolve issues quickly and precisely.
- Become a subject matter expert on BradyPLUS’s products and services in efforts to forecast individual customer specifications and preferences, delivery guarantees, and provide product recommendations as needed.
- Process customer returns, collect payment, process will-call orders, and answer shipping inquiries.
- Research all customer inquiries and troubleshoot matters that concern orders, pricing, and deliveries.
- Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and promotions to effectively recommend the best solutions to customers.
- Collect and enter customer order information into BradyPLUS’s inventory management system.
- Cross-Selling - Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that complement the customer’s original purchase, increasing overall sales and customer satisfaction.
- Upselling - Identify opportunities to persuade customers to upgrade to higher-value products or services that better meet their needs, emphasizing the benefits and added value.
- Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives by researching customer and product issues, referring new business leads, and assisting with the paperwork required for inventory changes and installation requests.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and facilitate proper merchandise stocking, rotation, and labeling.
- Participate in vendor product training to stay up to date on product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that portray professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
- Service oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Support with building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to increase loyalty and repeat business.
- Partner closely with all Customer Success and Sales team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and support BradyPLUS in reaching its goals.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other customer support tools
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation
- A proactive nature with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Customer-centric with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Technically savvy with the ability to navigate new computer programs, internet-based software, telephones, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally climbing stairs.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $18 - $22 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
