Job Description

We are in search of a Sales Support Specialist that supports outside sales professional in all aspects of the sales cycle and customer service.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Customer Service oriented. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Administrative tasks as assigned. 
  • Maintain assigned accounts. 
  • Resolve margin, sell, and cost issues. 
  • Sourcing and quoting new items. 
  • Evaluate inventory usage and planning. 
  • Troubleshoot order and delivery issues. 
  • Ability to develop relationships with vendor partners. 
  • Assist with quoting as needed. 
  • Assist in the bid process as needed. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed. 
  • Coordinate sample requests as needed. 
  • Ability to upsell. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • High school diploma required; Associates Degree preferred. 
  • (2) years’ experience in a customer service environment preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with sales professionals, customers, team members and management required. 
  • Must be detailed oriented, strategic, and well organized. 
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up on issues/concerns. 
  • Proven ability to execute with tact.
