We are in search of a Regional General Manager who is responsible for the full oversight of sales, customer service, and P&L (profit and loss) in the assigned locations in their region. The Regional GM will have dotted line oversight of facilities and operations personnel at the assigned location(s). This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies and ensuring engagement and effectiveness across all sales and operational associates at the assigned location(s).
Responsibilities Include:
- Provides direction and leadership for key activities associated with the strategic goals of the assigned location, region and organization.
- Responsible for full Profit and Loss (P&L) for assigned location(s) including monitoring, improving revenue stream and managing profitability. Will work in partnership with the Operations team to ensure alignment with P&L objectives and budget.
- Develop and manage a high performing sales team. Attract, select, retain and coach sales employees to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Responsible for current customer accounts with a focus on developing new business opportunities to enhance BradyPLUS’s command of the local market.
- Act as a dotted line leader and support to operations employees. Collaborate and build a strong partnership with the Regional Director of Operations, ensuring alignment on location goals, budget and culture.
- Partner with HR to develop organizational structures and policies that make effective use of available resources and best reflect the dynamic needs of the business. Optimize resources and talent.
- Manage the performance and goals of all sales and customer service employees at the assigned location.
- Build a strong bench of leadership for succession planning and development of high potentials.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times. Enable all team members to provide best-in-class service.
- Adhere to and promote continuous compliance with all ethical, legal, and regulatory responsibilities. Understand and deploy all HR & Safety policies as relevant.
- Represent BradyPLUS in a positive and professional manner to internal and external customers.
- Promote BradyPLUS within the local community and support with ensuring the company is an employer and supplier of choice.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading in a distribution environment
- 5+ years of experience leading a high performing sales team
- Degree in business or related field, preferred
- Track record of success managing a B2B Sales organization
- Operations leadership experience, preferred
- Experience owning and managing a P&L, with direct responsibility for sales, profit and growth
- Working knowledge of essential business processes and operations (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
- Exhibits emotional intelligence and superior interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Acts with integrity, works collaboratively, and meets commitments.
