Warehouse Office Clerk
We are searching for a Warehouse Office Clerk that contributes to the smooth operation of the warehouse by coordinating the warehouse shipping functions and providing administrative support to shipping warehouse plus transportation management. The inbound scheduler will collaborate with multiple departments to provide legendary service that sets PJP apart from the industry mold. The Inbound scheduler is a team-oriented person who works well with others to accomplish goals and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing effectively to complete tasks.
Responsibilities Include:
- Schedules delivery appointments with customers with time sensitivity.
- Receives POD's and process paper data through WMS and logs.
- Processes billing and credits for damages and discrepancies.
- Ensures that drivers arrive and depart with appropriate paperwork.
- Handles filing, typing, copying and mail duties.
- Answer phones and provides support for drivers and customers.
- Coordinate truck rentals when needed.
- Prints Invoices.
- Print and coordinate labels for products.
- Vacation coverage for all office personnel.
- Other related duties assigned.
- Answer all emails pertaining to delivery appointments.
- Coordinate with transportation about delivery time and not delivered/reship delivery appointment customers.
- Others clerical duties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6-12 Months experience.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize work, and be detail oriented.
- Possess teamwork and coordination skills.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have MS Office, Excel and Word experience.
- Must be able to work nights and holidays if necessary.
- Must be flexible with hours.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person. Also, must be able to lift 15-20lbs.
