We are searching for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Branch General Manager, Sales Managers, and Account Consultants as needed and requested.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Consultants and Sales Managers with creating and/or editing Quotes, Proposals, and Inventory Order Guides
- Responsible for branch bid submission packages. Responsibilities include assisting with coordinating bid meetings with all parties involved in the bid process. Assist with coordinating bid responses including completion of forms, gathering signatures, and assembling final submittals.
- Other Special Projects (such as flyers, forms, agendas, etc.) as needed for the GM, Sales Managers, and Account Consultants.
- Prepare literature, catalogs, and other presentation materials for Account Consultants and Sales Managers as requested.
- Prepare reports as requested
- Download raw data customer history, green spend, etc. reports from MITS and PowerBI. Format reports using Excel pivot tables, vLookup formulas, etc.
- Assist vendors with work-with schedules, promotional forms, and memos to Account Consultants.
- Administrative ownership in the planning of events to include but not be limited to sales meetings, sales banquets, customer appreciation days and customer seminars as well as vendor and company sponsored events
- Assist Account Consultants by phone and in person.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of 2 years, preferred, but open to entry level candidates.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technically savvy with the ability to navigate new computer programs, internet-based software, telephones, etc.
- Ability to multitask.
- Service oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $23.75 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
