We are in search of a Warehouse Inventory Control Associate to join our growing team.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable inventory management within the BradyPLUS warehouse. This is a physically active position with the majority of time spent on the warehouse floor performing inventory counts, stock checks, and product movement. The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and supporting smooth warehouse operations. In addition to inventory responsibilities, this role provides secondary support with receiving, stocking, order picking, and other warehouse functions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Inventory Control (Primary Focus):
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Reconcile stock data and investigate discrepancies or variances.
- Ensure proper product labeling, placement, and rotation.
- Track and report out-of-stock items or low inventory levels.
- Update and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems.
- Generate and distribute daily/weekly inventory reports.
- Warehouse Operations (Secondary Support):
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Pull, stage, and replenish products using RF devices or tablets.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse aisles.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure operational safety.
- Respond to email inquiries and provide timely communication.
- Support special projects or other operational duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- 1+ year of warehouse or inventory experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and capable of learning inventory systems.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; customer service mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 500 lbs. with a pallet jack.
- Stand and walk for the entirety of a shift.
- Perform repetitive bending and lifting for extended periods.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, order picker, and reach truck.
- Work in varying warehouse conditions, including changes in temperature.
- Must successfully pass all job-related employment screenings.
