Job Description

We are in search of a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Supervisors should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  •  Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices.
  • Responsible for the next day's delivery tickets.
  • Determines staffing levels and assign workload.
  • Responsible for ensuing shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delive1y.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager.
  • Responsible for sanitation and physical condition of warehouse, mate1ial handling equipment and rolling stock for the shift.
  • Responsible for the safety of employees and visitors during the night shift. 
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and Industry related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules as well as Brady policies/procedures.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two to three years of warehouse supervisory experience
  • Strong customer service skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Must be able operate various pieces of equipment including forklifts, order pickers and reach trucks.
  • Knowledge of control, shipping, and receiving procedures required
  • Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
  • Track productivity metrics to ensure operational targets are consistently met.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and armsĀ· and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to pass job-related employment screenings, to include a criminal background check and drug test.

 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

The pay range for this role is $43,000-$55,000. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
