We are in search of a Regional HR Generalist who is responsible for supporting across multiple company locations within Central region. The Regional HR Generalist plays a key role in driving consistent and compliant human resource practices. This position supports local leaders and associates by advising on employee relations, talent management, policy implementation, recruitment, training, and regulatory compliance. The Regional HR Generalist also serves as a liaison between corporate HR and site operations, helping to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with site leaders to implement HR strategies that support operational goals.
- Conduct routine visits to assigned locations to provide hands-on HR support.
- Support full-cycle recruiting: posting, screening, interviewing, offer process, and onboarding.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and labor laws to managers and employees.
- Manage employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as needed.
- Assist with the administration of performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policy.
- Deliver and facilitate employee training on harassment, diversity, safety, and company values.
- Support leave administration processes, including FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation coordination.
- Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to resolve employee issues or discrepancies.
- Track and report HR metrics such as turnover, retention, attendance, and engagement.
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives across the region.
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
- 3–5 years of generalist-level HR experience, preferably in a multi-site or field-based role.
- 1-3 years’ experience working with union teams-preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and HR compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); HRIS experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person
- Ability to pass job-related employment screenings.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 annually. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
