Job Description

We are in search of a Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within a targeted base of strategic accounts. This role involves executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing customer partnerships. The Sales Representative will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and to align company resources with customer needs.

Success in this position requires a results-driven mindset, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to manage relationships across various levels of an organization.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Business Growth & Development: Identify opportunities for expansion within assigned accounts and develop action plans to capture additional market share.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work cross-functionally with operations, service, and product teams to enhance customer experience and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Product & Market Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to effectively position Sigma Supply’s offerings.
  • CRM & Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity tracking through the company’s CRM system.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Leverage strong selling and negotiation skills to drive successful outcomes and close deals.
  • Training & Development: Continuously enhance knowledge of products, services, and market dynamics to provide superior customer solutions.

 

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of sales experience, preferably in strategic account management or national sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in industrial packaging or a related industry is a plus.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to manage large-volume, multi-location accounts with a consultative sales approach.
  • CRM Proficiency: Strong competency with CRM tools for tracking customer interactions and sales progress.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to present, influence, and close deals effectively at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Time Management & Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple accounts and sales activities efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
