Job Description

We are searching for a CDL Driver to join our growing team. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, and is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of products to customers using a semi-truck. The role requires frequent interaction with customers, accuracy in documentation, strict adherence to safety and transportation protocols, and a willingness to assist in warehouse operations when not driving.

 

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Load and unload orders and supplies for customer delivery
  • Ensure accuracy in product delivery and required documentation
  • Maintain the cleanliness of delivery vehicle and work areas (truck, customer docks, home dock)
  • Complete daily circle checks and maintain required driving logs per Transportation Policy and DOT regulations
  • Operate vehicle and any assigned equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Use GPS/electronic navigation tools to optimize routes
  • Follow all customer site safety requirements and expectations
  • Assist with warehouse functions including forklift operation, pallet jacks, and order picking/pulling when not driving
  • Maintain confidentiality of company proprietary information
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The ideal candidate will have:  

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Class A CDL and valid health card
  • At least 1 year of safe driving experience (preferred)
  • Forklift training and certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to lift/move 50 pounds repetitively
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, DOT regulations, and safety practices
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
