Job Description

We are in search of a Night Shift Warehouse Lead to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in directing the activities of Warehouse Personnel to ensure all policies and procedures are followed. This role will be responsible for completing the cross-docking orders loading onto the assigned trucks.

The Hours for this role are Monday-Friday 2:00AM - 11:00AM

 

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Lead the Cross-Dock Team and make Stop/Route Changes as needed. 
  • Pull and load all transfers and send proper communication.
  • Maintain the Company's safety stock inventory.
  • Keep the Cross-Dock side of the Warehouse clean. 
  • Oversee warehouse activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.
  • Leads by example and trains, motivates, and coaches crew being supervised.
  • Coordinates with the warehouse manager or operations manager to manage personnel issues and requests.
  • Load trailers with merchandise scheduled to be shipped.
  • Record information as directed to track all activities.
  • Perform tasks in a manner consistent with the zero errors policy of the company.
  • Operate within applicable safety guidelines as per government regulations, the company's safety manuals and/or stated safety policies, and common sense.
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years of warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong inventory control skills.
  • Knowledge of best warehouse practices.
  • Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Have a familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to push/pull and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.

 

Compensation & Benefits:  

The pay range for this role is $26.00-$27.00/hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
