Brady Plus

We are in search of a Packaging Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support the Janitorial/Sanitation (Jan San) and Food Service sales teams in selling industrial packaging materials. The Packaging Specialist will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with sellers to identify customer needs, recommending appropriate packaging solutions, and drive sales growth across these verticals

Responsibilities Include: 

• Support Sales Teams: Partner with Jan San and Food Service sellers to understand customer packaging requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
• Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of industrial packaging materials including stretch film, corrugated products, poly bags, tapes, strapping, and sustainable packaging alternatives.
• Customer Engagement: Participate in joint customer visits and calls to evaluate packaging applications, provide product recommendations, and help close sales.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop custom packaging solutions for unique customer needs.
• Training & Education: Conduct training sessions for sellers to improve product knowledge and sell confidence in packaging categories.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in industrial packaging, sustainability initiatives, and customer industry needs to provide strategic input.
• Quote & Bid Support: Assist in preparing quotes, samples, and technical documentation as needed for customer bids or large projects.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in industrial packaging sales or support.
• Experience working with Jan San or Food Service accounts strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials and equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical product features into customer value.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person
