Job Description

We are searching for a Night Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Operations Manager to achieve goals that lower operating costs, improve morale, develop leading edge processes, and execute key projects. This position requires the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time while working in a fast-paced environment. 


Responsibilities Include:  

  • Assist the Inventory team with daily counts, reporting, audits, and invoicing.
  • Monitor warehouse floor, maintain and promote safety, and assist Managers with Warehouse Personnel.
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. 
  • Participates in the disciplinary process according to Company policies.
  • Determines measures to be taken in such areas including but not limited to picking errors, piece count discrepancies, and pallet returns
  • Checks trucks for proper loading procedures: ensuring that orders are stacked correctly in trucks; that the orders are packed tightly and efficiently.
  • Receives merchandise from backhauls/re-ships and follows through with employees to locate paperwork, checks and tallies materials and verifies counts on shipping documents. 
  • Ensure that inventory is correct and supports the warehouse staff in resolving issues on all orders being picked. 
  • Works with the Company Safety Team and fosters a culture of safety first. Communicates safety issues to the employees and leadership.
  • Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and five years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through skills
  • Above average computer literacy with Microsoft Office & WMS 
  • Keen Eye for details; experience in Quality Control and Continuous Improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license (Company to provide training).
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs.
