We are in search of an Inside Sales Support person to join our growing team. This role will work out of the Bell, CA, office, report to the Mgr. of Education, and support three Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). The primary responsibility will be to support IFS inside sales initiative, public schools customers, relationship-building and the annual school bids process. This position will also produce various data & sales reports for the RSMs and Inside Sales representatives.
Responsibilities Include:
- School bid preparation:
- Tracking all school bids in process, including due dates, any samples that may be required, and bid packet preparation
- Preparing bid packets, including pricing spreadsheets, for submission
- Tracking results
- Weekly organization of customer call lists for Inside Sellers to solicit.
- Weekly organization of Share of Wallet opportunities for Inside Sellers to solicit.
- Tracking list of restarted customers and new share of wallet wins.
- Working with RSM’s to move underperforming accounts to Inside Sales Team.
- Running customer, sales, and margin reports in support of Insides Sales & RSMs.
- Managing the daily schools ETAs, Outs/Subs reports and advising schools on delivery shorts, ETAs, and available alternate items.
- Entering/editing school orders and helping schools enter their own orders.
- Migrating as many school customers as possible to online ecommerce ordering. Managing IFS inventory brought in for schools customers, to ensure it is depleted.
- Staffing IFS exhibits at school industry conferences.
- Maintaining school customer order guides in the e-commerce website.
- Adjusting price contracts as needed and notifying school customers of any price changes, with appropriate lead-times.
- Sourcing new government/school bid opportunities.
- Following up on school price discrepancies and submitting credit requests.
- Submitting Special-order Req. Forms, and Updated Usage Forms for schools.
- Submitting and following up on school samples requests.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Detail-oriented
- Microsoft Office skills, specifically excel, REQUIRED.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $25.00- $29.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
