Job Summary

Freezer area, receives, stock, order puller of any frozen products such as meat, veggies, ice cream, shakes, juices receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. The Order Selector uses a forklift and/or cherry picker forklift to manually select cases of food items products from the bin location, palletizing, delivering it to a staging area without damage.

Education and Experience 

High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) 2+ years of experience in a similar role working in a warehouse. 

Required skills and qualifications 

• Proficiency using an RF scanner. 

• Independent to work independently. 

• Ability to stay motivated. 

• Understands industry safety regulations. 

• Good team player • Great oral communication skills 

• Ability to work well under pressure while reaching quick deadlines. 

• Attention to detail. 

• Basic computer skills 

• Can work in a fast-paced environment for long hours. 

• Good mechanical skills 

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds. 

• Able to keep on your feet for hours without fail.

• Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation. 

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., (team lift suggested) 

• Work in a cold/wet storage facility environment at the freezer are about 0 degrees 

• Regularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift 

• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. 

• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, standup forklift, with a current certification. 

• Team-player with positive attitude 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 

• Able to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision

Preferred qualifications 

• Experience with inventory management.

• Forklift license.

• Solid mathematical skills 

• Experience with handling warehouse equipment.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $19.50 - $22.00 an hour.
