Job Description

We are in search of a Transportation Coordinator that is responsible for coordinating our transportation needs and ensuring that our vehicles are properly maintained while adhering to regulations and budgets.


Responsibilities Include: 

  • Monitors communications between vehicle drivers and transportationoffice.
  • Prepares accident and injury reports ina timelyand efficient manner
  • Assigns all extra routes usingappropriate guidelinesasdeterminedby the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Manage and coordinate the dispatching of vehicles and equipment.
  • Manage andmaintaindriver and vehicle records.
  • Serve as key point of contact between drivers and customer service.
  • Must be flexible with schedule.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transportation or relatedfields .
  • Communication skills to deliver clear instructions and relay information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Functional knowledge in Supply Chain.
  • Deadline-oriented.
  • Problem solving.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Ability to physically sit at a desk forlong periods,operatea computer
