We are in search of an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business, and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects and or current customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist Sales Department with a variety of tasks such as customer inquiries, order entry, delivery status updates, inventory levels, etc.
- Learn to hunt and develop new business by providing customers with consultative support and active communication.
- Assist Sales team by targeting dormant leads and transform leads into new accounts.
- Develop skills to manage a territory’s activity, development, and repeat sales.
- Learn and master administrative support tools such as order entry, customer relationship management (CRM) and pricing and contracting.
- Participate in product demonstrations.
- Assist with researching potential new business, “Prospecting”.
- Cold call and visit with targeted prospects.
- Assist with developing sales proposals, quotes, and product research (specification and capabilities)
- Assist with promotional activities such as trade show events, local training events, etc.
- Attend foundational training courses.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Organized and able to self-manage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow through skills.
- Retail, customer service, or sales experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High level attention to detail with sharp trouble-shooting skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and stay organized
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $52,000-$58,000/year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
